V EYE P Eyecare & Eyewear was established in June 2010 and I would like to take this opportunity to thank our patients for choosing us to be your eyecare and eyewear providers.
I graduated in 2003 from The University Of Auckland in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Optometry Degree with Honors. Thereafter, I began my professional career in private practice where I provided eye care in multiple practices within the Auckland region before moving to the U.S. I continued my optometric training in the Advanced Standing International Program at The New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA and graduated with a Doctor of Optometry Degree in 2008. Thereafter I joined an ophthalmology practice specializing in pre- and post- operative care for LASIK and Cataract surgeries and during this time earned my Optometric Glaucoma Specialist certification.
In 2010 I decided to go back into private practice as I enjoy the family practice setting and caring for patients of all ages. I am dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care, therapeutic treatment of ocular diseases, and managing refractive and contact lens-related complications. I believe in providing the best care possible and taking the time to listen to my patient’s needs and wants. I enjoy frame styling too and often find myself helping patients choose the perfect pair of eyeglasses in our Carrollton optical. I take great pride in all aspects of the practice to ensure our patients have the best experience during their visit.
My energetic 3 year old son keeps my husband Rinesh and myself very busy outside of work. We enjoy socializing with friends and family as well as traveling internationally.

Eye care professionals specialize in understanding how the human eye really works, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision – many of which do not have obvious symptoms. Eye doctors know how age and risk factors affect vision over time for young and old, and they understand the benefits and features of corrective lenses including eyeglasses and contact lenses.
Our optometrist in Carrollton, TX takes the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing and treating potential vision problems.
